- Exam fees are waived for minors (max age 17), full-time enrolled students (max age 24) with a current ID, active U.S. military, U.S. veterans, and GLAARG VEs upgrading to Extra.
- All classes of exams are offered. The order of exams is: Technician, General, Amateur Extra. Please make sure that you study for the correct exam. This session is for the exam only and not for the prep course.
- You may take more than one exam per session. We only ask that you have studied for that element and have been scoring at least 80% on practice tests.
- If you are not 13 years of age or older you may not register for any exam session through HamStudy.org or ExamTools.org until your parent or guardian has filled out our COPPA Parental Consent Form and emailed it to coppa@examtools.org. Please send a courtesy copy to Hamtesting@N6QZ.com.
- You will need a FRN. If you don't have one already, you will need to obtain one HERE.

GLAARG Exam Fees $10.
If you prefer to pay your exam fee in cash at the testing session, that is acceptable, however it is our preference to have you pre-pay, so we don't have to mess with that at the session. If you qualify for your fee to be waived (minors, full‑time students, active U.S. military, U.S. veterans, and GLAARG VEs upgrading to Extra), Please fill out and submit the Fee Waiver Form
If you do not fill out a Fee Waiver Form you will be sent a payment link to pay, this is due upon reciept. If you don't receive this within 24 hours of registering, please CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER There is now a $35 fee from the FCC to issue a new license. Upgrades will not be charged this fee. You will have 10 days after your application is submitted to log into the ULS and pay the fee, or your license will be declined. These fees are in addition to the GLAARG fees.
For new licences, the mailing address used when you registered will become public record as soon as your license is issued. If you would like to use a PO Box, work address, etc that is acceptable.
