OMARC VE Session

You must have your FCC Registration Number, (FRN) prior to taking your exam.You can obtain this on the FCC website, the link is: https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do Click "Register" under "Need a username"

You must have a valid State or Federal photo ID.

If you hold a valid amateur radio license, you must show us your license and have a copy for the VE team.

The fee to take an exam is $15.00 which will allow you to take exams until you fail an exam. If you wish to re-take an exam, you will need an additional $15.00. Please bring cash, checks or credit cards will not be accepted.

When you pass your exam(s), the FCC will charge you an additional $35.00 to process your application(s). This is done on the FCC website, (Not at the VE session).

Cellphones, Smart watches, hearing aids, headphones or ear buds are not allowed to be used while you are taking the exam.

A calculator will be available on the laptop you will be taking your exam on.
